Description

This self-paced eLearning is part of the suite of courses for Routing for the E6000 CER. This course teaches how to implement MPLS on the E6000 CER. It provides an overview of using MPLS with an E6000 CER and supported MPLS options. It shows how to create both Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs and teaches commands used to verify that MPLS is up and functioning. Also included are videos that show examples of MPLS configuration with the E6000 CER.

Objectives

By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

• Explain MPLS versus traditional routing
• Identify supported MPLS options
• Create simple MPLS connections
• Create MPLS connections with specific neighbors and using Targeted LDP
• Use MPLS and MPLS LDP show commands
• Create both Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs on the E6000 CER
